Playhouse on Park to Offer 2013 Youth Musical Theatre Preparatory Program, 7/15-26

Summer is just around the corner and Playhouse on Park is now accepting registrations for its Young Actor Musical Theatre Preparatory Program!

A two week full-day intensive course, this program will introduce and prepare young actors for future training and/or performance in music, dance, and theatre. Each day, students will have a schedule of classes and rehearsals with opportunities for instruction both in small groups and as a full ensemble. The goal of this course is to develop strong performance skills. Each student will be featured in a final performance as a singer, actor, and dancer. Students will also have opportunities to develop their own "creative projects" during daily, supervised rehearsals and will have a chance to perform them for the rest of the students every Friday.

This course is $600 per student if paid by April 15th ($650 after the 15th). Classes begin July 15th and run through the 26th every day from 9 am to 3:30 pm with a final performance on the last day of class. Students may arrive as early as 8:30 am, and must be picked up by 4 pm each day. Students must also bring their own lunches daily. Food will not be provided.
