Playhouse on Park Seeks Actors, Directors & More for 24-Hour Play Festival

Now is your chance to register for Playhouse on Park's 24 hour play festival! If you love theatre and love the rush of working hard in a short period of time there is no better place for you than this festival.

Participants will meet on August 2 at 8 pm and get randomly assigned into casts, each with one director and one playwright. The playwrights will camp out at the theatre overnight and write one-act plays. The directors and actors will return the next morning to rehearse all day. The playwrights will return in the afternoon to help with costumes and props. The performance is at 8 pm on August 3, just 24 hours after the first meeting!

If you are at least 16 years old and have a passion for theatre you are eligible to be a part of this festival. Playhouse on Park is looking for people to participate as actors, directors, and playwrights. Anyone is welcome, but we will give preference to participants with experience if spaces fill up, especially for directors and playwrights.

The performance is on August 3rd, 2013 at 8:00pm-just 24 hours after the first meeting! Participation is free for playwrights, directors, and actors!! Tickets to the performance are $10 each! But you must encourage friends, family, and neighbors to attend the performance.
