The Downtown Cabaret Theatre Children's Company debuts its new musical, "THE THREE LITTLE PIGS" on Saturday, February 28th. The tuner plays the acclaimed theatre
for young audiences and families through April 5th.

"THE THREE LITTLE PIGS" is the lasted creation of book and lyricist Bert Bernardi and composer Scott Simonelli. This new version is inspired by the 1930's short subject films
of The Three Stooges complete with slapstick antics and flying whipped cream pies. Featured in the cast are Marc Guerrette, Jeffrey James Dinan, Maria Vee, Pamela Nastu Garrett, Ashley DePascale, Jimmy Johansmeyer and Mr. Bernardi.

Set in the New Pork City, the story unfolds with three down and out pigs--Parker, Perry and Petey--arriving in town to seek their fortune. An unexpected surprise, the boys
best gals, Priscilla, Paula and Penny Rae arrive. Soon the pigs are enticed to work in a pie factory by the villainous Mr. Wolf. The pies begin to fly when the pigs decide to
open rival factories and Mr. Wolf shows his big, bad colors. The score features ten original songs including "The Recipe of Success," "Pigs in a Blanket" and "The Other
White Meat."

The show features sets by Delmar, costumes by Jimmy Johansmeyer, lights by Hugh Hallinan, technical direction by Steve Swatt and Phill Hill is stage manager. The production is staged and directed by Mr. Bernardi.

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre Children's Company is now in its 28th season at its home in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The award-winning company has continued its mission
to bring fresh, exciting new musical theatre to southern Connecticut. Recently Bernardi and Simonelli have had great success with three new musicals, "The Adventures of the
Dish and the Spoon" based on Mini Grey's book, a new musical adaptation of Baum's "The Life and Adventures of Santa Claus" and an original creation "Halloween High School"
(which will get a sequel next year!).
