Long Wharf Theatre presents the classic musical THE FANTASTICKS. The production is directed by Amanda Dehnert and will run through November 1st.

The cast features Ray DeMatthis, Jessica Grove, William Parry, David Nathan Perlow, Michael Sharon, Dan Sharkey, and Jonathan Randell Silver.

The FANTASTICKS features music by Harvey Schmidt and a book and lyrics by Tom Jones.

Long Wharf's unique production is set in a New England amusement park.

"Luisa and Matt are entering the bloom of their youth - the world stands open to them, inviting them to explore. Their fathers, scheming to encourage their budding love, build a wall between the teens, hiring the trickster El Gallo to "thwart" their romance. By moonlight, Matt and Luisa fall hard for each other. When finally the couple comes together in the light of day, they must decide between the comfort of illusion and the wisdom that only comes with experience. Can their romance survive the sunlight?"
