Award-winning Pantochino Productions Inc., a not-for-profit, professional theatre company for family audiences, has opened its 2017/18 season with the new musical, "How To Be A Good Witch!" with performances continuing through October 29th, at the Center for the Arts in Downtown Milford. "How To Be A Good Witch!" follows Rae, the youngest member of a family of witches, ready to cast a spell of goodness on all things Halloween. When she discovers and opens a magical book, all kinds of wonderful wizardry and witchcraft unfolds including a pair of mis-matched witchesanxious to guide the young girl on her journey.
Pantochino's Bert Bernardi has written the story with Justin Rugg composing the show's original score.
"How To Be A Good Witch" features Jimmy Johansmeyer, Mary Mannix, Shelley Marsh Poggio, Maria Berte, Justin Rugg, and Hannah Duffy. Joining them are Sydney Maher of Milford and Kristina Rizzardi of Shelton The new musical features sets by Von Del Mar, lighting by David Sexton, sound by Sara Brown and costumes by Johansmeyer. Amy Craw is the production stage manager.
"How To Be A Good Witch!" is performed through October 29 with shows Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2 & 5:30pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets are $20. online, or $22. at the door. Advance tickets are strongly suggested. The intimate Milford Center for the Arts is located at 40 Railroad Avenue South on the east bound side of the Metro-North tracks.
