The 15th Annual Mayor's Charity Ball successfully raised both funds and awareness for Playhouse on Park and HopeWorks, Inc. On the evening of Saturday, May 10, West Hartford's signature event welcomed a record number of attendees and culled over $53,000 for the two worthy non-profit organizations. The Grand Tent, courtesy of Taylor Rental Party Plus, looked beautiful on the lawn of Town Hall. Guests enjoyed a gourmet meal by Max's Catering and danced the night away to the swing band Eight to the Bar.

Special thanks go to Mayor Scott Slifka for lending his name and his support to the annual black-tie gala event. More thanks are owed to lead sponsor Athena Healthcare and the many other businesses that supported the ball with a sponsorship, donated an auction item, and/or provided in-kind services.
The Mayor's Charity Ball would not happen without a dedicated group of volunteers that comprises the Board of Directors, the Honorary Committee, and several sub-committees. The support of the community is dearly needed and appreciated.
The 16th Annual Mayor's Charity Ball is already being planned for Saturday, May 9, 2015. Photos from this year's Ball can be found at www.themayorscharityball.org. Prints are available to order; all proceeds will go back to the Ball.
