Pantochino Productions Inc., in association with the Milford Arts Council has announced registration for it's 2016 Summer Theatre Camp season. This year's program features four one-week sessions for ages seven to thirteen and a special summer edition of Pantochino's Teen Theatre program.

Now in it's fifth year, the Summer Theatre Camp series is under the direction of Pantochino's Bert Bernardi, Jimmy Johansmeyer and Justin Rugg. "Our camps always sell out and remains popular because the kids have so much fun," said Bernardi. "They respond to the unique material and enjoy the bright, exciting atmosphere we create for them," he added. "We're not teachers," Johansmeyer explained. "We are working professionals who love what we do and sharing our passion with young people."

The camp schedule kicks off in July with four original musicals by Bernardi and Rugg. Session One (July 11-15) features the mini rock musical "GolidiRocks." Session Two (July 18-22) will create and perform "Snow White and the Several Dwarfs." For Session Three (July 25-29), Pantochino's original musical "Glam Kitty Squad" is the exciting feature. Session Four (August 1-5) will see a brand new comical mystery/musical, "Mummy, Dearest" come to life. The hours for these five-day sessions are 9am to 3pm and take place at the Arts Council's Center for the Arts in Downtown Milford.

Pantochino's summer edition of Teen Theatre will present "Into the Woods Jr." in a two-week camp beginning August 1 with performances on August 13. This is a unique experience for young actors age twelve to eighteen who will experience concentrated and intense rehearsals in the fun and supportive atmosphere created by Pantochino.

Each session is limited to 30 participants, and registration is processed on a first come first served basis. "Our tuition fee is affordable and there are no hidden costs, no registration fees, advertising obligations or additional costs," said Bernadi. "We do offer discounted rates for those attending multiple weeks or for those attending with siblings," he added. As these camps fill up quickly, it is recommended those interested should register as soon as possible.
