"Your Palace - Your Place," the Palace Theater's radio show produced and hosted by Marketing and Public Relations officer Sheree Marcucci and heard over WATR 1320 AM from 9:10a.m. to 10 a.m. on the first and third Friday morning of each month, will broadcast its first show of the New Year on Friday, Jan. 8.

Headlining the week's guest list is Lauren Yarger, a Broadway and Off-Broadway theater reviewer for several media outlets in New York and Connecticut, including The Connecticut Arts Connection, Manchester Journal-Inquirer, and broadwayworld.com. As a voting member of the Drama Desk, The Outer Critics Circle, The American Theater Critics Association and the CT Critics Circle, Yarger has her finger on the theater pulse across Connecticut. She is also a playwright and theater producer in her own right and a member of the League of Professional Women, The Lambs, The Drama League and The Episcopal Actors' Guild. Yarger's other accomplishments include stints working in arts management for Masterwork Productions, Inc., The Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts and the Hartford Symphony Orchestra. She is also a writer and book reviewer for Publishers Weekly and member of the National Book Critics Circle. As owner of The WritePros, she produces events to help authors create a buzz about their books.

Other guests scheduled for Friday's show include local author Elizabeth Petriccone, whose memoir Born Fat has been adapted into a play by Connecticut resident Jacques LaMarre and is being produced by Seven Angles Theatre, as well as actress Kate Turner, who plays the role of Mother in the timely national touring production of Ragtime coming to the Palace January 22 and 23.

"Your Palace - Your Place" radio show gives listeners an eclectic dose of pop culture, entertainment and lifestyle trends to start their day. For more information, contact Marcucci 203-346-2008 or on Twitter @ShereeMarcucci.
