Palace Theater Stocks The Pantry Collection Site Helping Make Hunger Disappear! ImageThe Palace Theater is working some of its magic to help United Way of Greater Waterbury and Connecticut Food Bank Stock the Pantry to make hunger disappear in the greater Waterbury region.

Now through June 20th the theater will be a collection drop-off site for cereal, shelf-stable milk, macaroni & cheese and canned tuna or chicken (pop-top cans) all foods from Stock the Pantry's priority wish list of most needed items. To make this initiative more enticing, when you make a donation you also enter to win a 4 pack of tickets to see the opening night performance of "Illusionists Live from Broadway" coming to the theater for an engagement October 13 and 14. The value of the four orchestra level tickets is $216. "This is one of the ways we can do our part and give back to help the community that supports what we do here", stated Palace CEO Frank Tavera.

Your non-perishable food items may be dropped off in specially marked buckets in the theater's Box Office lobby at 100 East Main St where you can also fill out an entry form for the ticket raffle. For further information visit www.palacetheaterct.org or call the venue's Box Office at 203.346. 2000.
