The Opera House Players' production of THE FULL MONTY, directed by Philip D. Vetro, will play the Broad Brook Opera House from November 13th to November 29th. On opening night, $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Fund and concession stand proceeds will benefit Harvest for the Hungry supporting the East Windsor 5 Corner Cupboard.
In this musical, six unemployed steelworkers, low on both cash and prospects, decide to present a strip act at a local club after seeing their wives' enthusiasm for a touring company of Chippendales. As they prepare for the show, working through their fears, self-consciousness, and anxieties, they overcome their inner demons and find strength in their camaraderie. This production is music directed by Tom Slowick and choreographed by Lesley Gallagher. THE FULL MONTY contains adult themes, strong language, and brief nudity.
Performances are on November 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, and 29. Fridays and Saturdays begin at 8 pm, and Sundays begin at 2 pm. Tickets are $20 (adults) and $16 (under 12 and over 60), and can be purchased through the box office ((860) 292-6068). Please visit www.operahouseplayers.org for more information.
