Featuring a talented cast of 54 Newtown, Connecticut-area youth, the production is directed by Michael Unger (associate artistic director at The York Theatre Company), music direction by Jeffrey Saver (18 Broadway shows) with choreography by JoAnn Hunter (Broadway - as a performer 12 shows including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Thou Shalt Not, Kiss Me Kate, Chicago and Jerome Robbins' Broadway. Hunter returns to Broadway as the choreographer for Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock - The Musical).

NewArts: Newtown Musicals, is a division of the 12.14 Foundation, a non-for-profit organization formed following the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School to encourage personal development through high-level performing arts and leadership training programs. The Foundation provides experiences that produce a long-lasting, positive affect on the way children see themselves and the world around them.
