National Theatre's PETER PAN to Be Broadcast at The Ridgefield Playhouse ImageSee the spellbinding performance of The National Theatre's Peter Pan on the big screen in HD at The Ridgefield Playhouse on May 30.

All children grow up, except one... Come see Peter Pan! Captured live at the National Theatre, the acclaimed London stage production of J.M. Barrie's much-loved tale comes to the big screen in HD at The Ridgefield Playhouse on Wednesday, May 30 at 4pm. When Peter Pan (Marc Antolin - London Road, Love Actually), leader of the Lost Boys, loses his shadow headstrong Wendy (Madeleine Worrall - Jane Eyre) helps him to reattach it. In return, she is invited to Neverland, where Tinker Bell the fairy, Tiger Lily and the vengeful Captain Hook (Anna Francolini - wonder.land) await and a riot of magic, music and make-believe ensues! A delight for children and adults alike, Sally Cookson (NT Live: Jane Eyre) directs this wondrously inventive show, a co-production with Bristol's Old Vic theatre. The Times of London says "An awfully big adventure. Sally Cookson's production is a wonder, ticks all the boxes for adults and children." This event is part of the Benchmark Senior Living at Ridgefield Crossings Classical Series with support from The Ridgefield Press and Whistle Stop Bakery and underwritten by Jeanne Cook, Lori & John Berisford, Liz & Steven Goldstone, and Sabina & Walter Slavin.

An exploration of the possibilities and pain of growing up, Peter Pan is a riotous tale of magic, mischief, music and make-believe. Don't miss the chance to see this imaginative new take on a classic!
