The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center is now accepting applications for the 2016 National Critics Institute. Applicants may submit their materials for consideration through Monday, April 25th, 2016. Selected writers and journalists who are looking to deepen their perspectives and experience can strengthen their skills in this two-week workshop.
The Institute offers an intensive course of study for writers of all experience levels, making unique use of the creative professionals working in and around the O'Neill Center to help writers gain insights into all sides of arts journalism and specialist areas of the arts in an increasingly competitive and fast-paced industry.
Dr. Chris Jones, Director of the National Critics Institute, notes, "Former fellows of the National Critics Institute are now leaders in cultural journalism and criticism. We're excited to welcome, and support, another great class of folks who want to concentrate on their craft with the help of a distinguished visiting group of working professionals from the leading publications in the nation."
