This spring, The Sherman Playhouse is proud to present the uproarious comedic farce, NOT NOW DARLING, by Ray Cooney and John Chapman.
NOT NOW, DARLING takes place in a London fur salon and involves two partners, one who struggles to keep things on an even keel, and the other who is an energetic philanderer. Mistaken identities, wives, mistresses, fur coats, and a lightning pace of rapid-fire jokes and slamming doors all become part of the hilarious doings in the tradition of classic English bedroom farce.
Under the direction of Francis A. Daley of Danbury, the cast includes: Elie Finkelstein (Danbury), Liz Hawley (New Preston), Rebecca Echevarria-Downey (Sherman), Robert Brown (Bridgewater), Jessica Martin (Bethel), Tracy Hurd (Brookfield), Viv Berger (Southbury), Alison Bernhardt (Lagrangeville, NY), and Peter Pecora and Joshua Kragh (both Kent).
NOT NOW, DARLING runs April 17,18 24,25,26 May 1,2 8,9. Curtain time is 8:00 p.m. Fridays & Saturdays, with a 2:00 p.m. Sunday matinee on April 26. Tickets for all shows are $20.00 for general admission.
