On Sunday, July 10th at 6pm, the Ridgefield Playhouse Film Society "Documentary Films Series" will present Muhammad Ali: The Whole Story, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation's "TeamFox for Parkinson's Disease Research program."
Muhammad Ali: The Whole Story is produced & directed by Sandra and Joseph Consentino, the EMMY, ACE and HOT DOCS award winning television documentary team. The feature documentary explores Ali's thunderous life and career, in and outside the ring, warts and all. See some of Ali's greatest fights - from his Olympic triumph and battles with Sonny Liston, to his exhausting fights with Joe Frazier concluding with "The Thrilla in Manila." Watch him regain his title from George Foremen in the tumultuous "Rumble in the Jungle" in Africa. Witness Ali's controversial public stands on hot-button issues and meet all his wives and mistresses. The film reveals Muhammad Ali's complete back story and why in life, love and boxing - "He was the greatest!"
