Milford Arts Council Reveals Plans for Second Creative Fundraiser ImageMilford Arts Council has revealed its plans for the second year of a creative new fundraiser that the entire community will enjoy. The Great MAC Photo/Video Scavenger Hunt has been scheduled for Saturday, September 22, 3-8pm with 6 big prizes for the lucky teams that complete a series of "photo and video tasks" around Milford.

Each team will receive a list of creative and fun photos and videos to take around town, striving to complete as many tasks as possible for a chance to win prizes such as a Long Island Sound sailing adventure, a Firepit package, a Portable Bluetooth Speaker package, a Firestick Tablet, an Ice Cream package, free tickets to see Blac Rabbit, free membership, and more.

In order to be counted, each photo must show the requested photo or video task with all team members in the photo. They will be sent to primary sponsor, Atomic Kid Studios who will compile them in a presentation to be shown at the after-party. They will also be posted on social media all day and into the week.

Tickets to the event include the after-party at 6pm at the MAC's freshly upgraded Firehouse Gallery, 81 Naugatuck Avenue in Walnut Beach Milford CT. The new mural by John Paul O'Grodnick has created quite a splash in the Walnut Beach area this month, so this location was a perfect backdrop for the event. (photo attached)

The party will feature music by primary sponsor WEBE108fm, FREE brews by primary sponsor Milford Point Brewing, FREE bbq, and a meet and greet with the mural artist. MAC Executive Director, Paige Miglio is excited about the event and states, "Our Board of Directors believes that the idea of an intergenerational community-wide event is a wonderful way to bring many different people together to celebrate all that Milford has to offer.. MAC has a desire to connect the community through the arts, and we are excited that the Scavenger Hunt will highlight this concept. We are also thrilled to be able to show off our new building renovations, share our new season, our new website, and our new re-brand as THE MAC. We believe that the entire Milford community will enjoy our fabulous upcoming season of concerts, theatre, and exhibits. This Scavenger Hunt gives us a chance to share it all!"

Lorie Lewis, Marketing Director adds, "We have so much to celebrate in September - a new season, a new look, a brand new website, and new ways to be in community with each other. We want everyone to grab their friends, create a team, decorate their cars, and get ready to bounce all around our "little city with the big heart" to show everyone that the MAC is a huge part of the heart of the city and "the heart of the arts."

The community is encouraged to register early, as space will be limited. Tickets are $35 per per person, free under 3, and $10 under age 12. It includes FREE BBQ, FREE BREWS by Milford Point Brewing and entertainment at the after-party.

All proceeds help the MAC to bring you quality, affordable live music, theatre, dance, art exhibits, and more!
