Karoline Leach's Tryst, an Edwardian psychological thriller is a dark and dreamlike encounter between two intensely damaged souls. George Love (Mark Shanahan) is a con man that marries lonely women for their money. Adelaide Pinchin (Andrea Maulella) is a stifled milliner who sees through George's lies but thinks she might be content to stay with him.

Joe Brancato reunites with Mark Shanahan and Andrea Maulella to direct Tryst the fifth and final play of the company's 26th Season.

The production's design team includes Michael Schweikardt (Sets), Thomas Charles LeGalley (Costumes) with original design by Alejo Vietti, Marty Vreeland (Lights), Johnna Doty (Sound) and Sven Nelson (Props). Production Manager is Michael Lenaghan.

What begins as a period drama about a man who woos and weds plain, young women with a little money stashed away becomes a taut thriller with a startling climax. After persuading his brides to transfer their savings to his account, this dapper smoothie takes them to a cheap boarding house and treats them to one night of wedded bliss before he disappears. Mr. Love has selected another victim: a milliner's assistant. All goes as planned until the wedding night, when his new wife reveals that she has her own shrewd agenda.
