Music Theatre of Connecticut School of the Performing Arts presents "Guys and Dolls Jr." The production will take place on Saturday, January 10 at 3pm and Sunday, January 11 at 3pm at Westport Country Playhouse, 25 Powers Court (off Post Road East) in Westport, CT. Set in 1950s New Yok City, "Guys and Dolls Jr" is based on Damon Runyon's stories of lovable thugs and their long-suffering dolls. This cornerstone of the musical comedy stage that continues to delight audiences over fifty years after its Broadway premiere. Featuring the songs "Luck be a Lady" and "Sit Down You're Rockin' the Boat," this musical is the perfect balance of story, dance, music and romance.

The musical is a fully staged and costumed production performed by MTC students, ages seven and up. Directed by MTC co-founder Jim Schilling, with choreography by Sarah Pero, costume design by Diane Vanderkroef and set design by David Heuvelman. The cast of "Guys and Dolls Jr" is comprised of MTC School of the Performing Arts students, including Hudson Berk, Sydelle Bernstein, Miko Coakley, Brianna Cornfield, Josh Horowitz, Hannah Kail, Cassie Lang, Amelia Lanni, Emma Lee, Cessa Lewis, Isabella Partlow, Madelyn Spera and Zach Terrillion of Westport.
