Music Theatre of Connecticut School of Performing Arts MainStage Kids presents Disney's "Aladdin: Junior Edition." The production will take place on Friday, July 15 at 7:30pm and Saturday, July 16 at 2pm at St. Francis Church, 35 Norfield Road in Weston, CT. Tickets are $12-$18, and reservations are suggested. Based on the Disney film, "Aladdin: Junior Edition" features Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Book Adapted and Additional Lyrics by Jim Luigs, Music Adapted and Arranged by Bryan Louiselle. Welcome to Agrabah, City of Enchantment, where every beggar has a story and every camel has a tail! All of your favorite characters are here in this stage adaptation of the Disney hit, including Aladdin, Jasmine, and of course, the Genie. Filled with magic, mayhem, and flying carpet rides, audiences' spirits will soar with excitement. Most of all, the tuneful, Academy award-winning score with songs including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me" certainly make this musical a favorite for the whole family.

Disney's "Aladdin: Junior Edition" is a fully staged and costumed production performed by MTC School of Performing Arts students, ages seven and up. The production features Choreography and Musical Direction by Marty Bongfeldt and is Directed by MTC Co-Founder Jim Schilling. The cast features Westport's Juliette Berger, Harrison Bernstein, Sydelle Bernstein, Daisy Brackett, Camille Faucheux, Molly Jeanneret, Olivia Keogh, Eshita Kumar, Cassie Lang, Cailyn Lesher, Victoria (Tori) Lubin, Helena Lyng-Olsen, Annie McNeela, Alex Miller, Tyler Miller, Sasha Narang, Anastazia Perry, Samantha, Ronca, Kiara Shey, Morgan Skinner, Elissa Teles, Lauren Thomson, Isabel Vlahakis and Georgia Wright. Wilton's Irish Harvey, David Littlefield, Alexa Nichols, Samantha Nichols and Nicole (Nikki) Scamuffo. Weston's Isabel Angeli and Sophia Jacobs, Fairfield's Patrick Agonito and Rachel Rival, Easton's Mark Lichtman, Monroe's Erin Ellbogen and Ridgefield's Logan Milot.
