This month marked the opening of the U.S. premiere of Milk, a touching play by Ross Dunsmore and directed by Jason Peck, originally seen at Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the United Kingdom.
The gripping story revolves around three couples all at different ages and times in their lives, dealing with love, loss, and ultimately acceptance.
Here, we meet Steph (Alexandra Perlwitz) and Ash (Aidan Meachem), two young school kids trying to figure each other out while uncovering the dark side of social media sharing.
Meanwhile, Nicole (Alana Arco) and Danny (Jonathan Winn) are learning to understand the difficult feeding habits of their new baby, and Cyril (Cyrus Newitt) is trying to help his wife May (Melody James) the best way he can.
With powerful performances and profound stories that all intertwine smoothly, Milk makes for a riveting experience that grips your heart and doesn't let go.
Catch Milk at the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance from now until August 5th.
