The Little Theatre of the Deaf company will present their family-oriented production Stories In My Pocket Too at Hygienic Art Park in New London, CT, on August 19, 21 and 26. Performances times will be at 10am and 1pm. Admission is free to the public.
These performances are made possible through a generous contribution by Hygienic Art and funded in part by a grant from The City of New London Water Authority Community Fund and with the support of the State of Connecticut Department of Economic and Community Development.
Stories In My Pocket Too is an original theatrical piece developed by NTD Executive Director, Betty Beekman and features the Little Theatre of the Deaf Acting Company; Joey Caverly, Christina Cogswell and Christina Stevens.
Each performance of Stories In My Pocket Too is approximately 45 minutes in length and will be performed simultaneously in ASL and the spoken word. In the program, the family audiences will be engaged in seeing and hearing stories and improvisations derived from original material, literature and social awareness that will entertain as well as expand their familiarity with Deaf Culture.

The performances are free to the public. The Hygienic Art Park is located at 79 Bank Street in Downtown New London, Connecticut.
Little Theatre of the Deaf The Little Theatre of the Deaf is the children’s wing of The National Theatre of the Deaf. Each year, LTD gives live performances to thousands of children and adults around the world. In 2010, they were invited by The American Institute in Taiwan to perform at the International Deaflympics to rave reviews.
