The Little Theatre of Manchester is happy to announce a tap workshop on Saturday, August 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. During the workshop you will learn basic tap technique and learn some choreography from our upcoming production, Kiss Me, Kate!

About the instructor: Alexis Tribble-Bryant of Hartford, CT, is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University with a double major in Mathematics and Theatre with a Dance and World Performance concentration. Alexis has been dancing for 22 years, and choreographing, mentoring and teaching dance for 11 years. She studied at the Artists Collective, Inc. in Hartford, CT. At Eastern, Alexis has performed at the Fine Arts Instructional Center Opening Gala; was the Choreographer for "Mumbee Nimajjan (Mumbai Immersion)" in the Dance Here concert; choreographed many genres of pieces for Repertory Dance Troupe; and performed at the President's Picnic and Third Thursday Street Festival with the WUMALA African Dance Ensemble. During her time at Eastern, Alexis was a co-choreographer for Eastern's production of Miguel de Cervantes "Pedro the Great Pretender", was treasurer and later President of the pre-professional dance ensemble Modern Movement where she spearheaded a Dance Awareness Day and the productions of "Monarch" and "WARRIOR", and was a member of the dance ensemble for Eastern's production of John Guare and Mel Shapiro's "Two Gentlemen of Verona". Alexis has also been featured in the 5X5 Dance Festival hosted by the University of Saint Joseph Alexis has continued to choreograph for community groups and continues to perform at small events.
