Inspired by actual events, the hysterical comedy MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS tells the behind-the-scenes story of Gone With the Wind. It's 1939 and Hollywood is abuzz as Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down the production of his new epic, Gone with the Wind. In desperate need of a new director and writer, Selznick calls in director Victor Fleming, stopping him from finishing The Wizard of Oz, and the writer Ben Hecht-who has never read the novel. The three men lock themselves in a room for five days (with nothing to eat but bananas and peanuts) and supposedly craft the screenplay to what is widely considered one of the finest films of all time. Cast members include Shawn Procuniar as Ben Hecht, Mark Lariviere as Victor Fleming, Michael Forgetta as David O. Selznick and Karen Snyder as Miss Poppenghul.

This is a FREE event and no reservations are required!
