Chekhov is alive and well in Bucks County, PA, where middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia have never left the boundaries of their childhood home. There they spend their days mourning the loss of their missed opportunities and vanished dreams, while their sister Masha, a glamorous movie star, galivants around the world. Masha's sudden visit with her 20 something boy toy, Spike, thrust the normally quiet home into upheaval as everyone gets swept into an intoxicating mixture of lust, rivalry, and the possibility of escaping the monotonous, days debating how many cherry trees equal an orchard.

Evenings@7 offers FREE presentations of intimate script-in-hand play readings. Open to the public, these ONE-NIGHT ONLY performances are part of Little Theatre's mission to develop art and artists. This series, featuring both established plays and musicals and new works, enables local talent to grow in their craft by performing for live audiences in a casual atmosphere with minimal production elements. Neil Simon's I Ought To Be In Pictures, directed by Jim Ryan on September 11th, Tom Stoppard's The Real Inspector Hound, directed by Ron Coehen on October 9th, (1 of 2 one acts), additionally on October 9th, Author Kopit's Chamber Music (2 of 2 acts),directed by Jim Williams.
