LIBERTY Opens This Weekend at the Warner Theater

LIBERTY, a new musical that tells the stirring and spectacular story of United States immigration through the eyes of a young European immigrant, will be presented in an exclusive, fully-staged professional production beginning Friday, June 30, 2012 at the Warner Theatre.

LIBERTY,with book and lyrics by Dana Leslie Goldstein and music by Jon Goldstein is directed by acclaimed New York stage director Igor Goldin, Drama Desk-nominated director of YANK! and Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and is being produced by special arrangement withTheresa Wozunk.

The role of LIBERTY will be played by Madeline Brewer, a recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. “I am thrilled to be here for the world premiere and so excited to be originating the role of Liberty at the Warner Theater”. The production also includes many actors who have performed with the Warner Stage Company. The cast includes: Lynn Beard, Bif Carrington, Brian Dann, Jamal Ford-Bey, Stephanie Haring, Mary Johnson, Vincent McCoy, James McKirdy, MEric Martin, Timmy Perry and Maureen Pollard.

Performances of LIBERTY will be held on Saturday, June 30 at 8pm, Sunday, July 1 at 3pm, Thursday, July 5 at 8pm, Friday, July 6 at 8pm, Saturday, July 7 at 2pm, Thursday, July 12 at 8pm, and Sunday, July 14 at 2pm and 8pm.
