The Warner Theatre has just learned that pre - production commitments for his new movie Tusk have forced Kevin Smith to cancel his performance at the theatre on September 21.

Kevin has issued the letter below through the theatre as an explanation to his fans:

"Dear Connecti-Kids!

Sorry I have to pull out of Sept. 21st gig. We're rather suddenly making this movie called TUSK and an accelerated pre-production is forcing me to cancel the Warner Theater gig in Torrington. That's the bad news. The good news is I'm going to book another show in CT if time permits, and I'll bring you guys a bunch of footage from TUSK to see before anyone else. Thanks for your understanding and I'll see you in 2014!

Love, Fat Kev Smith, Oral Giver"

The Warner will be calling and issuing refunds to all patrons who have already purchased tickets to the Sept. 21 performance. Call the Warner box office at 860-489-7180 with any questions.
