Meet Hollywood's first female super-agent: Sue Mengers. Coining the title for herself, Mengers represented almost every star in Hollywood by the 1970s, unheard of during a time when women talent agents were far and few between. Her clients were the talk of the town - Barbra Streisand, Faye Dunaway, Cher, and Burt Reynolds, to name a few. In this jaw-dropping comedy, you're invited into her glamorous Beverly Hills home for a delectably schmoozy evening of showbiz dish and dirty secrets.
I'll Eat You Last stars Jodi Stevens as Sue Mengers. Stevens has appeared on Broadway in the original companies of Urban Cowboy as Pam and Jekyll and Hyde as Bet/Lucy. Off-Broadway and regional credits include playing Marlene Dietrich in three unrelated productions: Noel Coward and Friends at Lincoln Center, the premiere of Barry Manilow's Harmony: The Musical at La Jolla Playhouse and Dietrich and Chevalier: The Musical at St. Luke's Theatre. Stevens is a three-time Connecticut Critics Circle nominee for Best Featured Actress for Masha in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at MTC MainStage, Velma VonTussle in Hairspray and Paulette in Legally Blonde at STONC. Other roles include Donna in The Dreamer Examines His Pillow at The Mint, Claire Strider in the world premiere of Under Fire at NYMF, Doris in The Body Shop, Hildy Lincoln in Eliot Ness in Cleveland, The Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd at Gateway Playhouse, Dracula: The Musical at La Jolla Playhouse, Heaven Help Us! at Denver Center, Lily St. Regis in the 20th Anniversary production of Annie at Goodspeed, My Way and Love Letters opposite husband Scott Bryce at MTC MainStage and White Heron Theatre. Film and television credits include Sex and the City, Central Park West, Pervertigo, The Narrow Gate, 27 East and Conviction.
