With book and lyrics by Marcy Heisler and music by Zina Goldrich, Junie B. Jones follows its spunky protagonist on her first day of first grade. And it becomes a day of firsts as Junie learns to make new friends, a thing or two about cooking from a jolly cafeteria lady, and how to have fun during an outrageous kickball tournament! Audience members will experience this eventful day told through song and dance, and recorded in Junie's Top-Secret Beeswax Journal! Playhouse on Park welcomes back the incredibly talented Kevin Barlowski to direct a cast of professional actors from New York City!
Our neighbors, A.C. Petersen's Farms Restaurant, is offering a special treat for those who come to the show, too! Visit the restaurant before or after a show and kids get free ice cream with the purchase of a kid's meal! Choose from the traditional Clown Sundae or a Mrs. Gutzman Sugar Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich! Patrons must present tickets from the show to redeem offer.
