Add a touch of magic to your holiday season! The Ridgefield Playhouse presents The Nutcracker on Friday, December 15 at 6pm, Saturday, December 16 at 2pm and 6pm, and Sunday, December 17 at 10am and 1pm as part of the Ridgefield Academy Family Series. Enjoy a beautiful holiday tradition in a magical land where sugar plums dance, flowers waltz to tell the classic tale of a young girl and her Nutcracker prince. Tchaikovsky's soaring score, graceful ballerinas, wooden soldiers that come to life and a gargantuan Christmas tree will make the holidays bright for young and old! This year's fresh production will be presented by The Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance (RCD) with student and professional cast members who will delight with new choreography and costumes. The Nutcracker is partially underwritten by Books on the Common with support from the Ridgefield Library.

Before or after the performance, visit Dimitri's Diner (16 Prospect Street, Ridgefield) for lunch or dinner and enjoy 10% off your bill when tickets are presented. Media partner for this event is Danbury's 98Q.

For tickets ($25 Adults, $20 Children), call or visit the box office at The Ridgefield Playhouse, (203) 438-5795. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit performing arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, Ridgefield, CT; ridgefieldplayhouse.org.
