Director Diana Moller-Marino says, "This show is a time honored, classic love story with a great sense of humor!" With original music composed by Hartt graduate student Steven Serpa, Pride and Prejudice tells the story of a family with disparate personalities and a mom who wants desperately to marry off her daughters. Sparks fly when spirited Elizabeth Bennet meets single, rich, and proud Mr. Darcy. Mr. Darcy reluctantly finds himself falling in love with a woman beneath his class. Can each overcome their own pride and prejudice?

Pride and Prejudice features fourth year actor training and music theatre students who hail from locations across the country, including: Will Sevedge of Allentown, PA, as Mr. Bennet; Trevor Brown of Brooklyn, NY, as Mr. Collins; Michael Gregory of Collingswood, NJ, as Mr. Bingley; Tim Zayas of Orlando, FL, as Mr. Darcy; Nick DeMarco of Pooler, GA, as Mr. Wickham; Sarah Moore of Fort Lauderdale, FL, as Mrs. Bennet; Alex Venancio of Denver, CO, as Jane; Sydney Schwindt of Boulder, CO, as Elizabeth; Jessica Horness of Midland, MI, as Mary; Gabi Van Horn of Freedom, MA, as Catherine; Gwyneth Jonnes of Springfield, MA, as Lydia; Sophie Brower of New Orleans, LA, as Miss Bingley; Sasha Pasternak of Woodland Hills, CA, as Lady Catherine de Bourgh and Hill; Maura Van Voris of Mattapoisset, MA, as Lady Lucas; and Ilana Moskowitz of Georgetown, MA, as Charlotte.
