Hartt's newest Theatre Division faculty member and Broadway luminary Kevin Gray directs Arthur Miller's A View From The Bridge, the first play of the 2011-2012 Theatre season. The show runs Thursday, October 6, Friday, October 7, and Saturday, October 8, at 7:30 PM, and Sunday, October 9, at 3:00 PM. Performances are in the Kent McCray Theater at the Mort and Irma Handel Performing Arts Center, 35 Westbourne Parkway, Hartford. Admission is $20 with discounts for seniors, students, and groups. Arthur Miller's timeless play A View From The Bridge is set in a 1950s Italian American neighborhood near the Brooklyn Bridge. The play follows the life and downfall of longshoreman Eddie Carbone, whose obsession with his niece Catherine drives him to his own destruction.
