Hartford Stage to Celebrate 50th Anniversary with Retrospective, Gala and More, 11/3-4 & 4/26

The Past Presidents Council of the Board of Hartford Stage invite you to save the dates for its 50th Anniversary celebrations, including a 50 Year Retrospective: A Conversation with all Five Artistic Directors on November 3, 2013; the Hartford Stage 50th Anniversary Celebration on November 4, 2013; and the Party in the Paint Shop: 50th Anniversary Gala on April 26, 2014.

Kick off the golden anniversary celebration with the 50 Year Retrospective: A Conversation with All Five Artistic Directors. Join Hartford Stage's past and present artistic directors - Jacques Cartier, Paul Weidner, Mark Lamos, Michael Wilson and Darko Tresnjak - for a conversation about their experiences at Hartford Stage. This commemorative event will take place November 3, 2013, at 3 p.m. Hosted by Walter and DiAnne Harrison, and moderated by Teresa Eyring, Executive Director, Theater Communications Group, the discussion will be held at the Millard Auditorium at the University of Hartford, 200 Bloomfield Avenue. (Admission is free but reservations are required due to limited seating.)

The following evening, the festivities continue with the Hartford Stage 50thAnniversary Celebration, an exciting performance featuring some familiar faces of artists who have appeared on our stage over the last 50 years, with dinner to follow. The 50th Anniversary Celebration will take place at Hartford Stage on November 4, 2013, at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for Premium Seats and Dinner are $175, Preferred Seats are $100, and Regular Seats are $35. (Preferred and Regular Seat tickets do not include dinner.) Seating is limited.

In the spring, Hartford Stage's annual gala will keep the anniversary celebration going.Party in the Paint Shop: 50th Anniversary Gala will take place on April 26, 2014. More information to follow, but for now, think 1964!
