Hartford Stage Celebrates 48th Season With Open House, 9/19

Hartford Stage celebrates its 48th season with an Open House on Saturday, September 17. The event features a special performance from the theatre's current MainStage production of Arthur Miller's classic drama The Crucible. The afternoon also includes theatre facility tours given by Hartford Stage staff, a costume discussion with Costume Shop Manager Matt Smart, a discussion of the upcoming season with Senior Dramaturg Christopher Baker, and a student theatre workshop led by Hartford Stage Education staff members.

The event schedule:
11:00 - 1:30 Ongoing tours of Hartford Stage
11:15 The Crucible and the upcoming season discussion with Senior Dramaturg Christopher Baker
11:00 Student Theatre Workshop -- Hartford Stage teaching artists will introduce the techniques and theatre games used in our Studio classes. Discover the actor within you!
12:00 Costume discussion with Costume Shop Manager Matt Smart (includes optional Costume Shop tour)
2:00 Sneak Peak of The Crucible
When: Saturday, September 17 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Where: Hartford Stage, 50 Church Street, downtown Hartford
