Guitarist Christopher Ladd Set To Perform During The 2009-10 Faculty Recital Seris 11/8

Award winning guitarist Christopher Ladd will perform as part of the 2009-2010 Faculty Recital Series on Sunday, November 8, at 3:00 PM in Berkman RecitAl Hall, on the University of Hartford campus. Ladd will perform works by Sergio Assad, Agustin Barrios, Leo Brouwer, Phillip Houghton, and Johann Mertz. This event is free. For more information visit www.hartford.edu/hartt.

Ladd is rapidly becoming known throughout the country as one of the most promising young classical musicians. Praised for his remarkable talent and richness of sound he is highly sought after as a soloist and chamber musician.

He received his Bachelor of Music and Master of Music in Guitar Performance from Shenandoah Conservatory where he studied guitar with Glenn Caluda. He received the highly coveted Artist Diploma from The Hartt School where he studied with Richard Provost and was a member of the prestigious 20/20 Honors Chamber Music Program.

The Hartt School is the comprehensive performing arts conservatory of the University of Hartford that offers innovative degree programs in music, dance, and theatre.
