The newest show from producer and world-renowned impresario Danny Chang (Artistic Director for the Golden Dragon Acrobats), Cirque Ziva is a fast-paced, technically innovative and beautifully presented new show. The large cast and spectacular set designs illustrate the best of Chang's brand of artistic merit, high productive value and sold commitment to cultural exchange. Perfect for all ages. This event is underwritten by the Glenn H. The best of a time-honored tradition, some 25 centuries old, meets modern movement and expression in a gorgeous, innovative cirque performance. The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as one of the premiere Chinese acrobatic companies touring today. Their Broadway debut earned two Drama Desk Award nominations and audiences on five continents have sat in stunned amazement at their impossible feats.

The Arts in Education initiative integrates school curriculum, moral lessons and/or historical perspective through the performing arts with the goal of providing students and teachers with a full performing arts experience. Performances are intimate and typically last one hour followed by an opportunity to talk with the performers, which promotes enhanced learning. Study guides are available to provide teachers with educationally rich lesson plans for use before or after the theatrical event.

For tickets ($10), call the box office at 203-438-5795, or order online at ridgefieldplayhouse.org. The Ridgefield Playhouse is a not-for-profit arts center located at 80 East Ridge, parallel to Main Street, in Ridgefield, CT.
