Gabriel Bello Comes to Downtown Cabaret Theatre to Pay Tribute to Stevie Wonder, 2/21-22

One of the greatest entertainers and music legends of all time is Stevie Wonder. The #1 entertainer dedicated to faithfully performing all of Stevie's music is Gabriel Bello and his group "Natural Wonder." Audiences are invited to sit back, close their eyes and become totally immersed in the re-creation of a Stevie Wonder concert that is hard to beat. Gabriel Bello and "Natrual Wonder" will be performing Stevie's greatest hits including "Ribbon in The Sky," "Isn't She Lovely," "Higher Ground," "I Just Called to Say I Love You," "Superstition," "You Are the Sunshine of My Life," and on and on. Every member of the audience will swear that they are at a concert with none other than Stevie himself on the stage of Bridgeport's Downtown Cabaret Theatre.

Gabriel Bello and "Natrual Wonder" are scheduled for three performances ONLY on Friday, February 21 (2014) at 7:30pm; Saturday, February 22 at 5:30pm and at 8:30pm.

Gabriel Bello is a #1 Billboard & SESAC (Society of European Stage Authors and Composers) award-winning smooth jazz saxophonist, vocalist and keyboardist. In addition to performing, Gabriel is also a producer and arranger.

Before the Stevie Wonder Tribute with Natural Wonder, Gabriel Bello's musical journey began in Lawrence, Massachusetts where Gabriel's Dominican father, a percussionist, helped form his son's earliest musical memories. Childhood would later find Gabriel discovering his own musicianship. Gabriel sang in church choirs and learned a range of instruments including flute, saxophone, and piano. Outside of church, Gabriel maintained a steady diet of his parents' musical culture coupled with the pop and jazz icons of the day including Michael Jackson, Grover Washington Jr., Stevie Wonder, Toto, Chuck Mangione, and David Sanborn. While most choose their paths in life, Gabriel Bello clearly had no choice: he was always meant to be nothing less than a formidable musical force.

The path of the solo artist has seen Bello bring his inconceivable level of talent as a vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer, and engineer to bear on a 2011 self-titled debut that occupied the #1 spot on the BillboardSmooth Jazz Charts for eleven weeks. And he unseated Michael Bublé from the #1 spot on the Billboard Jazz Charts.

With a wealth of accomplishments and accolades behind him in fields spanning the music industry and a host of genres, Gabriel Bello, a consummate performer, composer, and producer, continues to venture where his talents and faith take him.

In addition to vocals by Gabriel Bello, The Natural features Chris Revels (bass), Justin Allen (drum),Steve Daley (saxophone) and Peter Gray (electric guitar).

The Downtown Cabaret Theatre is located at 263 Golden Hill Street in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each scheduled performance. Tickets are: $47.
