From FX TV's SEX&DRUGS&ROCK&ROLL Robert Kelly September 9th In Westport

Robert Kelly is in his second season playing Bam, Denis Leary's drummer in the aforementioned FX comedy series airing weekly on Thursday nights. Robert was thrust into the national spotlight when he was one of three comedians who toured with Comedy Superstar Dane Cook as part of HBO's hugely popular comedy series "Tourgasm".

Like others who came up with Robert in the Boston comedy scene, such as Cook, Louis CK, and Bill Burr, Kelly eventually found himself in New York City honing his craft which would pay off in the form of 2 Comedy Central specials, 4 comedy albums including 2015's wildly successful stand up film "Robert Kelly: Live at The Village Underground" directed by Bobcat Goldthwait. Robert has coupled his honest, edgy stand-up career with a healthy dose of acting, appearing in the movie "Trainwreck", Tv's "Inside Amy Schumer" and a regular on "Louie", playing Louis CK's brother. Of his vulnerable, full-disclosure approach to stand-up, Kelly says "I don't know if there is anything more powerful. That's how people get sober off drugs, just being completely honest. That's what kind of power lies in stand-up comedy."

It's that transparency that has led to his innumerable appearances on Sirius/XM's Opie and Jim Norton Show, as well as appearances on Comedy Underground with Dave Attell, Jimmy Kimmel Live, Last Call with Carson Daly, Comics Anonymous and Just For Laughs: On Tour and The Green Room with Paul Provenza. Robert's will be performing at The Treehouse Comedy Club 1595 Post Rd. at Bistro B in Westport at 9PM on Friday September 9th and tickets are $22.50 Three headlining Treehouse comics who started their comedy careers at the Treehouse will unite for one big show. It was thirty-three years ago that Billy Winn started hosting the Treehouse Comedy Clubs Open Mic Nights. Since those early days Billy has gone on to a very successful stand-up comedy career as well twenty plus years as a successful CT radio personality.

Most recently, Billy has been voted as "Favorite Connecticut Comic" 2015-2013. Additionally, Billy has appeared on VH-1, A&E, and CT's WTNH Channel 8's CT Style. Dom Fig, started his comedy career at the Treehouse as half of the comedy team The Fig Brothers. Thirty-three years later Dom Fig is a solid solo comedy act who has appeared as his hysterical comedy character Valentino on Showtime and his stand-up has been featured on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and Comedy Central. Dom's comedy is wacky, silly and hysterical funny. Peaches Rodriguez is a Latina Stand-up Comic who hails from Windsor Locks, CT.

Before being crowned Grand Champion of The Funniest Comic in Connecticut Contest Peaches was a world class break dancer. Her mix of twisted perspective and edgy humor has won her a place in the Annual Jack Daniels Latino Comedy Festival. Peaches has done three U.S.O. tours of duty, including her most recent ,where she traveled to five countries in the Middle EastAfghanistan, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Oman. Billy, Dom, and Peaches will return to their Treehouse roots on Saturday September 10th at Bobby V's Restaurant and Sports Bar in Windsor Locks located at 11 Schoephoester Road.
