Friends of Square One Theater to Host SPRING FANTASY LUNCHEON, 4/24

The Friends of Square One Theater's annual 'Spring Fantasy Luncheon' will take place at 12noon on Wednesday, April 24 at the Mill River Country Club, located at 4567 Main Street in Stratford. Proceeds from the luncheon will support the William A. Barry Scholarships awarded every year to two graduating students from each of Stratford's high schools.

The guest speaker at the luncheon will be Phyllis Rega of Phyl's Flowers in Stratford. She will demonstrate and explain the art of floral arrangements. In 2004 Phyllis received the state's award of "Florist of the Year" and appeared in an episode of HGTV's "Home Rules."

Luncheon tickets are $28 per person. The menu includes cheesboard & crudité, salad, an entrée Harlequinn Platter of Chicken Piccata/Seared Salmon, dessert and coffee, tea or soft drink. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling Beatrice DiCarlo at 203.925.8613.
