Fractured Theatre @ WTG presents Fool For Love by Sam Shepard, Friday & Saturday, September 21 & 22, 2018 at 7:30 pm Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 2 pm at the Burton Leavitt Theatre, 779 Main Street, Willimantic.

In a run-down motel room on the edge of the Mojave Desert, Eddie comes to claim May, the young woman with whom he has had an tempetuous on-again, off-again relationship for the past 15 years, and who has sworn him off due to his frequent absences and love affairs. As the recriminations pour out, sometimes violently, the desperate nature of their relationship becomes apparent: they cannot get along with, or without, one another, yet neither can subdue their burning passion. Two other characters highlight their situation: a young man who is May's date for the evening, and a ghostly old man who sits in a rocking chair at the side of the stage. The confrontation among them reveals themes of identity, truth, and destiny.
