From August 1st through September 3rd, Connecticut's Foxwoods Resort Casino hosted Las Vegas's popular Legends in Concert for its 12th year. The tribute performance consisted of musical icons of "past and present" and on Saturday, September 2nd, the show helped celebrate the casino's 25th anniversary.
The evening began with a Rod Stewart look-alike rocking on stage, amping up the crowd with hit songs, including "Maggie May" that had the audience singing along.
Cher was up next, sporting big hair and black garters, belting out classic tunes, like "Turn Back Time" and "Believe." Her performance got plenty of people out of their seats, but it was Michael Jackson who moonwalked in and made the crowd go wild. With dance-worthy ballads, including "Billy Jean" and "Smooth Criminal," everyone was out of their seats and having a good time.
Frank Sinatra strutted his way out and brought things down a notch with his smooth vocals during "My Way" and New York, New York" while engaging in slapstick humor with his audience - and toasting with a glass of Jack Daniels.
But the best was saved for last, as Elvis made his appearance in his all-black leather attire (and later white studded suit), singing favorites like "Viva Las Vegas" and "Burning Love" paired with all the right hip thrusting moves.
