First Male Actor to Play Dorothy in a Licensed Production of THE WIZARD OF OZ in the World

Consumers who love The Wizard of Oz will especially like this fully licensed adaption of the timeless classic performed live and on stage at The Hole In The Wall Theater in New Britain from July 7th thru the 9th  2017. The show will be sung live and the adaption has a twist where the Lead Role of Dorothy is being played for the first time by a Male Actor, Ben Orlando. Ben Orlando, AKA Summer Orlando is a well-known Drag Performer in the State of Connecticut. The show hopes to break down stereotypes surrounding traditional drag performances in a family friendly setting.

This production features many talents including: Tony di Pietro ( Barbra Joan Streetsand), Allen Stone ( Chastity Singer), Adam Cormier (Giganta Smalls), Tristan Sauvageau, Jim Gourd, Dan O' Rourke, Michael Gambino, Adam Brady, Kerri Morris, and Local young actors from all over the State of CT.

Proceeds from the ticket sales of the show hope to raise money for a local scholarship fund, in addition to sponsoring one member of True Colors to see the show. True Colors is a non-profit organization that works with other social service agencies, schools, organizations, and within communities to ensure that the needs of sexual and gender minority youth are both recognized and competently met.

The Officially Licensed one hour long production of the timeless classic "The Wizard of Oz" is perfect for any age from 6-60 and beyond. coming to Hole in the Wall Theater in New Britain CT July 7-9 with 4 performances with an All-star Drag cast. Friday 8pm Saturday 3pm &8pm and Sunday 3pm Matinee . Ticket prices are $25 for Adults, Kids 12 and under are $15 and Kids under 5 are Free.
