An emphasis on improvisation will also be covered in this course. The largest benefit of the program is to offer the serious acting student a small supportive class structure that allows for a substantial individual growth. No two semesters are exactly alike and the classes are always evolving to fit the needs of those signed up. Score your next audition and improve your confidence all under the direction of Boston Conservatory graduate Joseph Santaniello. All dress rehearsals are mandatory and any more than one absence/conflict must be cleared with Joe the first week or beforehand.

The job of the singing actor is a difficult one, with many demands that often cannot be met in a school choir or even a weekly voice lesson. If you are looking to improve your voice and augment your vocal training join Boston Conservatory graduate and longtime Crystal Theatre director/teacher Joseph Santaniello alongside Collaborative Pianist/singer Shannon Collins who holds a music degree from New York University in A Singer's Masterclass. This class will focus on the many demands facing young singers today. Some topics covered in class may include but are not limited to vocal technique, a heightened sense of musicality and musical accuracy, sight singing, acting, working with a pianist, and learning how to present oneself in a professional audition and rehearsal situation. All singers will get many chances throughout the duration of class to work one on one in class on solo repertoire and learn from both an insiders and outsider position. The students work will culminate in a final public performance. Most students in this course will study voice privately outside of class; however, this class will not exclude anyone with a strong determination and want to learn more about singing and acting. Tech and Dress rehearsals are required and conflicts must be cleared with Joe the first week or beforehand.
