Comix At Foxwoods Presents Bill Engvall, April 2013

With an American Comedy Award for "Best Male Stand-up Comedian" and platinum recording artist among his many impressive credits, Bill Engvall is truly a show business star. Comix At Foxwoods will welcome guests to 'An Evening with Bill Engvall' when he performs at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 8 p.m. Tickets for the highly-anticipated show will be available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster on Thursday, Jan. 3 at 10 a.m., and regular tickets will go on sale Friday, Jan. 4 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase tickets in advance for $35, $45 and $60.

Engvall was part of the hugely successful Blue Collar Comedy concert films, which have sold more than 9 million units and are some of the most watched movies and specials in Comedy Central history. He also has several solo specials, including "Here's Your Sign, Live," which has been certified multi-platinum. His next project, as voice of an animated character for a new show for CMT, currently titled "Bounty Hunters," is set to air in summer of 2013.

On the small screen, Engvall starred in and executive produced his own self-titled sitcom for TBS, which ran for three seasons. He additionally served as host on the game show, "Lingo," for GSN, propelling it to the highest rated show in GSN network history. His first album, "Here's Your Sign," was certified platinum and held the #1 position on the Billboard Comedy Chart for 15 straight weeks.

Engvall has also toured with Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy on the "Them Idiots Whirled Tour," which was filmed as a special for CMT and aired in March 2012. His second CD, "Dorkfish," was certified gold, while surpassing Jerry Seinfeld's album to rank #1 on Billboard's Comedy Chart, and each of his following comedy album releases also debuted in the top stop. Further showing his versatility, he has written several books, including his autobiography, "Bill Engvall -Just A Guy."
