Comedy Night Comes to Playhouse On Park ImagePlayhouse on Park opens its Season Ten Comedy Series on Saturday, October 20, at 8pm. Tickets are now on sale for the show featuring co-headliners Paul Nardizzi and Steve Van Zandt.

Paul Nardizzi began his comedy career in 1990, quickly becoming a Boston area favorite and a national headliner within four years. He has made numerous appearances on Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central, won the Boston Comedy Festival Competition and is one of the most requested acts on XM Satellite Radio. He is now one of the top stand up comedians in Boston and the New England Area, and is known nationally for his rapid-fire comedy style. He can be seen performing in clubs nationwide in addition to providing corporate entertainment and working at charity events and parties. In addition to his work as a standup comedian, Paul is also the published author of the comedy book series Things That Might Annoy..... and of the comedy books 602 Reasons to Be Pissed Off and 602 Reasons to Be Ticked Off, which are available now in major bookstores.

Steve Van Zandt has been performing stand-up comedy full time since 1991 and is best known for his amazingly accurate vocal and physical impersonations of the famous. He serves up an eclectic mix of hilarious Celebrity Voices, completely original characters, and a lifetime of very funny observations through the eyes of a middle-aged baby-boomer. And he delivers it all with a unique, laugh-inducing, six-foot-five-inch stage persona. Traveling across the United States, Canada and beyond, Steve dazzles and thoroughly entertains his audiences at whatever the venue may be: Comedy Club, Resort, Casino, on a Cruise Ship stage halfway around the world, or at a private Corporate Comedy event. Over the years Steve has also had the privilege of opening shows for a wide variety of past and present entertainment icons, including Henny Youngman, Debbie Reynolds, Michael Bolton, Willie Nelson, Howie Mandel and "Weird Al" Yankovic, to name a few. Tickets are $15, all seats reserved. This event is BYOB! For tickets, call the Playhouse box office at 860-523-5900 x10 or visit www.playhouseonpark.org. Playhouse on Park is located at 244 Park Road, West Hartford, CT 06119.
