Meriden native and the star of Broadway's Wicked, Jennifer DiNoia, will introduce her solo concert to Connecticut, April 20-22, at the Castle Craig Players' intimate cabaret venue.
Long before taking Broadway by storm, Jennifer grew up in Meriden, CT. She made her professional debut at the age of 6 in The King & I at the Shubert Theatre in New Haven, CT - and has been hooked ever since. Jennifer has performed the role of Elphaba in Wicked in seven companies across four countries, more than any other actress in the show's history (Broadway, Chicago, both North American National Tours, London, Korea, and Australia).
DiNoia's other credits include the First National Tour of Mamma Mia! and the original company of We Will Rock You in Las Vegas. Her voice can be heard on Wise Mom's ESL book series, the Killer Queen Album (Hollywood Records) and the Twentieth Century Fox Animated Film, Leafmen.
After a successful debut at New York's Feinstein's/54 Below, this show promises to take audiences on a rock-driven musical journey that spans the 1930s to today. Personal, poignant, and electrifying, this is an evening of music you won't want to miss.
Jennifier DiNoia in Concert will run for three performances only, April 20 & 21 at 8:00pm and April 22 at 2:00pm at the Almira F. Stephan Memorial Playhouse (59 West Main Street, Meriden). Presented Cabaret Style with table seating, patrons are invited to bring their own dinner, drinks and snacks to enjoy!
Tickets are $35 each, with a limited number of $50 VIP Tickets which include Prime Seating. Tickets may be purchased online at www.CastleCraig.org or over the phone by calling toll-free 1-800-838-3006.
