Broadway Method Academy prepares for
their fourth annual Summer Musical Theatre Intensive with Broadway Artists
in residence.
The summer intensive program, out of Connecticut, is geared for teen and young adults ages 13 & up. BMA's Musical Theater Intensive is designed to help young actors become triple-threats. Students will work with professional talent to sharpen their performance skills and prepare them for a total understanding of musical theater. There will be performances, workshops and panel discussions with leading Broadway talents. The 3-week summer intensive concludes with a showcase cabaret featuring the young artists.
Returning for his third summer as guest teacher will be Aubrey Berg (University of Cincinnati's Musical Theater Department Chair).
Broadway Method Academy's mission is connecting the stars of today, with the stars of tomorrow. This summer, the intensive program will be held July 5th - July 25th, Monday through Friday from 12:30 - 5:00. Cost is $1,000.
Past guest faculty include Samantha Pollino (Hamilton), Max Clayton (Bandstand, Something Rotten), Kimber Sprawl (Beautiful), Christy Altomare (Anastasia), Erika Henningsen (Les Miserables), Tony nominee Rob McClure (Something Rotten, Chaplin) and Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple).
