October 1st, 2013 marks the Third Anniversary of Bridge Street Live and to celebrate, the venue is hosting some truly remarkable performers.
On Friday, September 27th, legendary blues guitarist Ronnie Earl will be playing with his band the Broadcasters. Ronnie has played with the likes of Eric Clapton, the Allman Brothers, and B.B. King, and is the two-time winner of the W.C. Handy Blues Award.On Saturday September 28th, Bridge Street Live has the honor of hosting one of America's great pop vocalists, Kenny Vance, and his band the Planotones. Kenny's former group, Jay and the Americans, opened for both The Beatles and The Rolling Stones' first American performances and is a must-see for anyone who enjoys the fantastic vocal stylings of the fifties and sixties.
On Sunday, September 29th, Bridge Street Live welcomes Honky-Tonk legend Billy Joe Shaver w/ Chuck Mead and His Grassy Knoll Boys.
The Celebration concludes on Tuesday, October 1st with The Outta Sites + The Neanderthals. Neanderthals' front man, Eddie Angel, the noted rockabilly guitarist of Los Straitjackets fame, is sure to get people up on their feet and dancing.
