The Downtown Cabaret Main Theatre Stage in Bridgeport, Connecticut brings to the stage the award-winning musical, A Chorus Line.

The story centers around a grueling audition of chorus dancers for an upcoming broadway musical. It takes the audience inside their world of fear of rejection with unique song and dance routines like "I Hope I Get It" and "Hello Twelve, Hello Thirteen, Hello Love".

But it's more than witnessing a dancers do flips and tricks on stage to impress the hiring choreographer, it's about the lives of these people that grabs hold and doesn't let go. Based on actual dancers that have once high-kicked their way to broadway, this diverse group of people make for a story so natural and gritty, it has to be stemmed from something real.

From the tough red head, Sheila (Emily Frangipane) to the distressed comeback, Cassie (Lindsay Johnson), this group has a story to tell. But among all, Paul (Danny Burgos) can't help but stand out. His history of sexual abuse and understanding his homosexuality targets the heart like no other. A true inspiration and one that leaves the audience in tears.

With its fun dance acts, its in-depth characters, and bold behind-the-scenes feel, A Chorus Line is something like no other, bringing you closer to those on stage and around you.

A Chorus Line runs from now until December 11th.
