BOOK OF MORMON Anchors Palace Theater's 18-19 Season  ImageThe Palace Theater has finalized its 18- 19 Webster Broadway series, and with a Broadway blockbuster, some new titles and a returning favorite, it's certain to be a magical season for theater lovers.

The season begins fittingly in October with THE ILLUSIONISTS direct from Broadway; everybody's favorite reindeer, RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER THE MUSICAL,prances into town in December just in time for the holiday season; get ready to lose your heart to everybody's darling, Elle Woods, when LEGALLY BLONDE arrives in February; March roars in like a lion when the high energy of TAP DOGS commandeers the Palace stage.

In April, THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of 9 Tony Awards, will play a limited one week engagement. The New York Times calls it "the best musical of this century" and Entertainment Weekly says it's "the funniest musical of all time.

Rounding things out in May is all that jazz and the razzle dazzle of Broadway's #1 longest running American musical, CHICAGO .

Our star, Elle Woods may be legally blonde but she also proves to be the smartest person in the room. Woman power is on full display, in this this fabulously fun award-winning musical, LEGALLY BLONDE - THE MUSICAL. The story follows the transformation of Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes, sexism, snobbery and scandal in pursuit of her dreams. This contemporary, sassy, musical moves at a breakneck pace driven by memorable songs and explosive dances. LEGALLY BLONDE - THE MUSICAL warms the heart by proving that self-discovery can be way too much fun and hilarious to boot.

Elle Woods appears to have it all. Her life is turned upside down, however, when her boyfriend dumps her so he can start getting more serious about his life and attend Harvard Law. Determined to get him back, Elle uses her ingenuity and charm to get into Harvard too. School begins with endless struggles, but with the help of her new friends, Elle quickly realizes her potential, and her true assets, and sets out to prove herself to the world making everyone a believer.

TAP DOGS

March 1-2 Friday 8pm Saturday 2pm & 8pm

Hot off an international tour, the global dance sensation TAP DOGS hits the road on an international tour of jaw dropping new surprises. Experience the thrill of a revitalized genre of dance. Seventy-five action packed minutes of part theatre, part dance, part rock concert and part construction site. An adrenaline pumped cast turns traditional tap dancing upside-down and into the ultimate night out.

TAP DOGS premiered at the Sydney Theatre Festival and success quickly followed with seasons in London, New York, Tokyo, Paris, Berlin, Shanghai and around the world. Created by Oliver Award-winning choreographer Dein Perry, and originally directed by Nigel Triffitt, with music by Andrew Wilkie and lighting by Gavin Norris.

TAP DOGS is set to electrify the stage as they jump through scaffold, tap upside down, grind steel and tap on water in Waterbury, Connecticut.
