ANON(ymous) tells the story of Anon, a refugee in America searching for his mother. They were separated during their journey to America, Anon adopted by a wealthy American couple and his mother finding employment in a sweat shop. Anon's journey mirrors Odysseus's in the Odyssey. Renowned, contemporary playwright, Naomi Iizuka finds new interpretations of the Cyclops and the Sirens to create a stunning, evocative - and provocative new myth for today.
Directed by Kim West (Alliance Theater Atlanta, Hartford Arts Academy) the Teen Company features actors 14 - 19. Oddfellows' produces classics and contemporary plays that ask questions about our society and challenge young actors. Each show features a fully designed production in our flexible black box theater.
